Marketing for Loch Lomond Hideaways
Loch Lomond Hideaways, luxury holiday accommodation, consists of two pods, a garden room, and a treehouse.
The owner has grown this collection of units to four during the last few years, and I have consulted on a marketing strategy. We recommended creating an overall brand - Loch Lomond Hideaways, to make it more effective for online promotion.
With a new brand identity for Loch Lomond Hideaways, I created a mobile-compatible website to market all four-holiday properties. The website has helped grow brand awareness and driven direct bookings with the owner, bypassing costly commission booking sites.
To showcase the quality of the accommodation and its beautiful setting, I staged a photo/video shoot featuring people using and enjoying the facilities. The session was deliberately scheduled for early evening to show activity after exploring/walking. Also, as darkness falls, the lights around the Hideaways come on, creating a pretty environment. In addition, we added some daytime aerial filming around the grounds.
I work closely with many accommodation providers, creating more direct bookings and helping them to increase their occupancy rates and improve turnover/margins.
Scotland Accommodation Marketing Video
This simple 60-second video (shown below) achieved over 300,000 views on Facebook in a completely free and organic campaign. The result was that the Facebook page audience grew to 44,000 and sold all available booking vouchers.
