The Power of Testimonials
Over the years, I've suggested that some of my clients produce testimonial videos and film their customers explaining to the camera why they use their business. Naturally, there's often a nervous reaction to this suggestion, which is understandable as it is unpredictable what they might say.
I know when I see a good business with happy customers, so for me, it feels like a pretty safe bet.
Testimonial Videos
You will see some examples of the results on this page of various client testimonial videos. They're all slightly different in style, but the one thing that they've got in common is they're authentic. The people involved are genuine customers, describing why they like the business in their own words.
This is especially true in the example below with a creative drum tuition business in Falkirk where customers feel part of the excitement.
Authentic Customer Praise
Most of the business owners have been staggered by what's been said. They were expecting warm words. However, the way their business is described is very personal and real. So real that you couldn't script it even if you wanted to - partly because it would never be as good.
TMS in Larbert, gave me some customers who were happy to be filmed, the result is the following production.
Solving Customers Problems
Successful businesses provide value and solve problems for their customers, so if they get that right, the chances are they are going to be appreciated. Happy customers are loyal customers, and many have been only too pleased to go on camera and explain in a few words what good service and value means to them.
The next two examples are Life Fit Wellness in Falkirk and are part of a series of testimonial films. The beauty of these were that they showed the variety of different services and treatments, along with a good mix of customers all of which had a genuine story to share.
Discovering Key Information
Discover the power of testimonials with authentic customer feedback videos. Not only are these perfect for sharing on social media and adding to your website, but you can also learn a lot about why your customers use your business. Those reasons and choice of words can help determine future marketing campaigns, as there may very well be more people looking for a company such as yours.
