Plan your Video Marketing
Preparing for Filming
There are many examples of videos on this website. They may help you to decide what type of video you would like.
Video Focus
If you're thinking about getting a video produced for your business, you will need to be clear about what you would like it to achieve. For example, do you want it to increase awareness or better position your brand? Do you want it to promote a specific product/service or show some of the key aspects of the business?
Video Interviews
Have you considered an interview? If this terrifies you, then don't worry, it's outwith most people's comfort zone, but there are ways to make it easier. We generally ask the questions and edit those out, just editing together answers. We recommend keeping answers concise and encouraging the interviewee not to worry as we can take a 5-minute interview and edit down to very smooth and focused delivery.
We usually provide the questions and expected answers in advance on the day, don't use a script; just keep answers short, sweet and focused. It all must look natural, but don't worry, that's our job!
Preparing Premises
It would be best if you prepared your business for filming, making sure any required PPE is worn and that there is nothing confidential or any items in view that shouldn't appear on the screen. You’ll find it very frustrating if you watch it back only to see there is a major issue.
